"My work reflects a love of gardens, flowers and landscapes, particularly Southern and Low Country
landscapes. My vision is to interpret what I see as God's gifts to us, in the form of the seasons of nature, always around us, and the emotion it evokes in me."
Carol's paintings have appeared in numerous juried shows and have earned many awards, including the James Wedgeworth Award for excellence in pastel at the Art League of Hilton Head National Juried Show. She has had 2 two-man shows, and her work has been seen at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens;
The Etowah Art Gallery ; the The Georgia State Capitol Galleries; North Fulton Regional Juried Art Exhibitions; Roswell Fine Arts Alliance Exhibitions; Emory University Hospital; E.Thomas Gavin, III Gallery; Foothills Gallery; Pastel Society of North Florida Exhibitions; Columbus Museum of Art; The Georgia Marble Festival Fine Arts Exhibitions; Dawson County Home for the Holidays Juried Art Shows; Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art; The Georgia National Fair; The Atlanta Artists Center; South Cobb Arts Alliance National Juried Exhibition; and Quinlan Visual Arts Center; among others.
Carol credits outstanding instructors, including Frank Webb, Barbara Nechis, Albert Handell, Marc Chatov, Nancy Honea, and Elsie Dresch, among others, for much of her art education.
