I am a landscape painter in acrylic and oil. I love the beauty of nature and try to capture it as a reminder of our responsibility to take care of our planet. I have recently begun to paint on glass using recycled windows. Using a single paned window, gives the paint extra luminosity. They are already "framed" and it keeps from adding to landfills. I also paint florals on canvas and other traditional substrates, adding positive messages, cleverly integrated within the composition. This makes them more than just a "pretty picture". I believe art should be visually alluring but also have a meaning or message.
