Burgess, Keith
Keith Burgess resides in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Hiawassee, GA. He received a B.A. Degree from Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, GA. After college he began a long career as a graphic artist/illustrator for a major publishing corporation in Atlanta. During his corporate tenure he continued his pursuit of fine art with study at Atlanta College Of Art, The Southeastern Center For The Arts, and The Spruill Center For The Arts, as well as private study with many nationally known artists. In 2003 he left the corporate world to pursue painting full time.
He has always received inspiration from the early French, Russian, and American Impressionists while developing his own distinctive style. His work has been shown throughout the souteastern U.S. and is widely collected.
