Brenda Smith is an artist, metalsmith and award-winning designer currently residing in Woodstock, Georgia. Her work has been exhibited at the Taylor-Kunzel Gallery, Crai Gallery and Gallery 4463. Her unique collection of jewelry is currently sold at several retailers throughout the Atlanta area.
Though undeniably beautiful, her work moves beyond the boundaries of decorative arts to promote powerful messages in each piece she creates. During a trip to Singapore, Brenda first experimenting with gems and metals. A former creative director with more than 20 years of advertising
and design experience under her belt, she easily transitioned from graphic arts to innovative jewelry design. Since then she has developed an extensive collection of one-of-a-kind wearable art that inspires, encourages and enlivens those who buy and wear her creations.
Brenda's work is influenced by a myriad of thoughts, symbols, unique materials and biblical teachings. She strives to create jewelry that fuses exceptional design with powerful symbols and inspirational messages. She utilizes a variety of stones and metals in her work including pearls, Swarovski crystals, jade, ivory, gold and sterling silver.
Brenda Smith earned her Bachelor of Fine and Professional Arts from Kent State University
and a Masters in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. She is currently a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the Cobb County Gem and Mineral Society and the Advisory Board for the School of Visual Arts, Kennesaw State University.
